Gossip queens are everywhere…

In primary school you learn to gossip about other people, it’s seen as normal and healthy.

By the time you reach secondary school gossip makes up 90% of your conversation-if you’re like most people….

In Binalonan in the Philippines gossiping is illegal…

I’m assuming that you’re reading this blog because you want to be a successful trader, to be successful in anything, or even happy within yourself you need to learn to direct your energy into positive things that motivate and excite you. If you conserve your emotional energy for solving other peoples problems and pursuing your dreams you will be much happier.

Judging others often makes them want to judge you as well, so the cycle continues unabated until someone consciously decides to break that pattern by focusing on something constructive, if you care about someone and they care about you it’s normal to analyse how they live their life and how they interact with you. If you’re healthy and have passions of your own to fulfil this will be done in a balanced way.

This character trait is what makes someone a successful trader, to be a successful trader you have to focus on what you expect the market to do, not on what some analyst from xyz bank thinks the market is going to do, what do you think based on your experience, based on your common sense…?

This is why I like to trade news, it’s straightforward and is based on facts, not speculation, if you’re the kind of person that always makes their decisions based on their intuition then that’s great, that intuition can be helpful when you’re trying to decide what reports you should trade, and what reports you should leave alone, but a lot of that is based on common sense and predictable patterns.

I will talk more about predictable patterns another time, but for now just remember to save your energy and avoid gossip queens, gossiping is by far the worst thing you can do, for it destroys your peace of mind, and you need to be at peace with yourself before you start trading.

Work on your demons, fix your demons, clear the skeletons out of your closet with some exercise and a meditation and then sit down and look at the market.

Then you’ll be able to make money…:)

PS: If you do this before an important business meeting, a date or anything that matters to you, you will have much better outcomes because your reaction will be more positive. Your reaction determines others reactions, so work on yourself and surround yourself with people that are committed to working on themselves…
